Placental Prints
The placenta is known as the "tree of life" due to the beautiful tree-like structure of the blood vessels on the fetal surface of the placenta. Beautiful prints that last as a meaningful keepsake long beyond the birth of your child can be created each baby's unique placenta.
Each print is created using colors selected by each family. Food food safe dye is used to highlight the blood vessels and unique structure of the placenta and transfer the likeness to thick watercolor paper. See the gallery below for placental prints created for other families. I include 2 prints with this service.

Placental Encapsulation
There are a wide range of practices surrounding the placenta after birth and many are now choosing to consume their placenta. For those interested in this option, I offer placental encapsulation services to safely prepare your placenta for consumption.
Placental encapsulation is the process of cleaning, preparing, drying, grinding, and depositing the placenta into gelatin capsules. My services include a meeting to discuss your wishes regarding the preparation of your placenta, remaining on call for your estimated due date to receive the placenta, and processing the placenta within 72 hours of receipt. Two placental print are included at no additional fee.

Additional fee may apply for travel for placenta pick-up.
